Cannonway / Herbert Smith Present Successful Series of Claims Seminars in Japan
Cannonway, in conjunction with Herbert Smith, an international firm of solicitors with a specialist construction practice, presented five seminars during week commencing 28th February 2005 to selected audiences in Japan on ‘International Construction and Engineering Claims’. The seminars included such matters as notice provisions, the need for records, extensions of time, variations, acceleration, quantum meruit, global claims, dispute resolution, concurrent delays, difficulties with valuation of variations, typical prolongation (delay) claims, and effective contracts administration and control of claims. This seminar included a number of case studies drawn from actual contracts.
