ROBERT LEIGH
Senior Sub-Contract Engineer, HNC
Robert is an experienced, hands-on senior quantity surveyor with over 30 years work experience covering a wide range of construction activities, including both general construction and Oil / Gas Industries, working for the Client, Developers, Contractors, Consultancies and PQS Practices.
His experience has included contracts administration; subcontract management; pricing and negotiating variations / change orders; agreement of accounts; preparation and defence of contractual claims; preparation of correspondence and Internal / External Reports; regular updating and monitoring of weighted progress; procurement; cost / cash forecasts; and a diverse range of other quantity surveying duties.
He has undertaken projects in UK, Qatar, Jamaica and the Far East.
Cannonway has recently appointed him to work with one of their clients, a major Japanese corporation, to provide specialist commercial and contractual advice to the clients' team on their LNG project in Papua New Guinea at the onset of the major construction project and throughout the currency of the project.
