PRC Construction Law Revised
The Ministry of Construction has moved to update the PRC Construction Law with a wide-ranging series of amendments that broaden the Law's scope, step-up licensing requirements for professional and technical personnel, and promote standard forms of contract and project management. The newfound emphasis on project management reinforces trial procedures which were released in December 2004 and that are intended to regularize the role of project managers on PRC construction projects.
